BIDS WILL BE OPENED MANUALLY AND/OR ELECTRONICALLY AND READ ALOUD AT CLINTON TOWN HALL, 11209 BANKS STREET, CLINTON, LA 70722 AT APPROXIMATELY 2:15 PM ON JUNE 25, 2026. 

 

A. SCOPE OF WORK (all distances are approximate)

The Town of Clinton’s Streets included in the project equal approximately 7 miles and are reviewable in the attached PROJECT ROAD LIST (EXCEL SPREADSHEET).

 A Prebid Meeting will not be held, but (per the Advertisement) potential contractors are required to contact the city through its representative to walk/survey/inspect the streets that are included in the project prior to submitting their bid.

As required by law, all bidding documents are posted to this site under Attachments and are available to all registrants. ATTENTION: If you are not a Louisiana licensed contractor (licensed through the Louisiana State Contractor's Licensing Board - https://lslbc.gov), then you may not use, rely on or re-distribute the bidding documents posted herein, including: the bid notice, plans and specifications, bid forms, bidding instructions, addenda, special provisions, and all other written instruments prepared by or on behalf of a public entity for use by prospective bidders on a public contract to potential bidders.

1. ADDENDUM #1 - The phrase " *** PLEASE, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SUBMIT YOUR BID IN PERSON, BY COURIER OR BY MAIL - IT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. *** " has been stricken from the electronic document.  There is no prohibition from personally delivering, delivering by courier or delivering by mail, your bid. Paper and electronic bids will be opened in Clinton at the date and time of bid opening.

 2. ADDENDUM #2 - extends the deadline to conduct a mandatory walk through of the streets falling under this project that are subject to milling and overlay. The deadline to contact city representative Bart Blackledge at 225-413-1393 or bblackledge@yahoo.com to schedule and to complete the walk-through is extended until 3:00 p.m. on June 25, 2026.  Thereafter, questions to be answered by the town shall be directed to the bid administrator at paul@lamats.net who will then contact the proper city personnel to provide answers. Questions should be submitted by 3:00 p.m. on June 26, 2026.  

 3. ADDENDUM #3 - extends the bid submission deadline until 11:00 a.m. on July 9, 2026.
