ST. LANDRY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT (SLED) WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITY...

1. To bid, and to receive the official bid documents, registration by a contractor licensed through the Louisiana Contractors State Licensing Board or their agent is required. Register using the “Start Response” button.  After registering, immediately complete Task #1 under the TASKS Bar.  

2. Download the remainder of the Bid Documents and complete Task #2 under the TASKS Bar.

3. Review the Bid Documents thoroughly, follow all instructions and sign all forms where required. 

4. To submit your bid electronically, use the "Recipients Will Drag & Drop Files Here" function.

6. 5. Bids are unsealed and are opened by the St. Landry Economic Development District at 1703 WEST LANDRY STREET, OPELOUSAS, LA 70570 immediately upon the bid submission deadline. 

7. If you are awarded the public works contract herein, you will pay a $300 electronic fee whether having submitted a paper bid directly to the District in a sealed envelope or electronically on this platform.  Please see the terms and conditions of the Advertisement.

And notice will be emailed to a bidder's registered email address.  Please check your registered email address regularly. Make sure that you acknowledge receipt of all changes and addendums as may be required in the Project Manual.

When submitting your bid electronically, you must include a clear copy of your original bid & performance bond with your submission. If you are provided notification that your bid is the low bid, you must deliver your original bid bond within three (3) business days of the notice to the address specified in the bid documents.    

As required by law, all bidding documents are posted to this site under Attachments and are available to all registrants. BUT . . .  

ATTENTION: If you are not a Louisiana licensed contractor (licensed through the Louisiana State Contractor's Licensing Board - https://lslbc.gov), then you may not use, rely on or re-distribute the bidding documents posted herein, including: the bid notice, plans and specifications, bid forms, bidding instructions, addenda, special provisions, and all other written instruments prepared by or on behalf of a public entity for use by prospective bidders on a public contract to potential bidders.

A bidder who is a Louisiana licensed contractor must: 1) register on this site; 2) Download the "Contractor Verification Form" and complete and submit it to lacpc@lamats.net; 3) The completed form must also be submitted with the other required bid documents using the "Recipients Will Drag & Drop Files Here" function; and 4) Have completed Task 1 - Contractor Verification Form.
