  • Notice is hereby given that electronically submitted sealed bids will be received by the LACPC, 6767 Perkins Rd., Baton Rouge, LA 70808 up to the hour of 11:00 o’clock am on December 22, 2025, for furnishing of the following:
CAUSTIC SODA -- 50% liquid, Membrane Grade, Caustic Soda Solution and 25% liquid, Membrane Grade Caustic Soda Solution. 
The resulting contract will be for a period of six months, commencing January 1, 2026, until June 30, 2026, or as may be otherwise negotiated. 
The purpose of this bid is to service the needs of the City of Natchitoches' CAUSTIC SODA needs for water treatment and may also include the needs of other similarly situated cities who are members of the LACPC Cooperative Purchasing Joint Commission.
Electronic bids will be accepted only by the LACPC on the LaMATS e-Auction & Bid Services (EASiBUY) bid platform, https://lamats.easibuy.com. Bidders must register at this website address to access the full specifications and to place their bids electronically.
  • ELECTRONIC BIDS WILL BE UNSEALED AND the results posted starting at 11:00 am at https://lamats.eauctionservices.com thereafter.
  • THE CITY OF NATCHITOCHES and the LACPC reserve the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in bids received.

REQUIREMENTS

Supply the required product for use in potable water treatment in the City of Natchitoches.
Timing: On an as needed basis   

COOPERATIVE USE CONTRACT

The resulting contract may be considered a cooperative use (joint use) contract available for use by additional local government parties through the LACPC Commission, https://lacpcjointcommission.org.  

SUPPLY CONTRACT TERM 

The term of the resulting contract will commence on January 1, 2026, through June 30, 2026. Upon the mutual consent of the LACPC and the Supplier, the resulting contract may be extended for one (1) additional 6-month period, until December 31, 2026. 

SUPPLY CONTRACT CONDITIONS

The conditions and requirements stated in this Solicitation and the response form submitted by a vendor shall become binding when accepted and signed by the City of Natchitoches.
