Toro Commercial Zero Turn Lawnmower Supply Contract

                                                          NOTICE

The LACPC Municipal Joint Commission, 6767 Perkins Rd, Baton Rouge, LA 70808 seeks to place up to ten (10) Toro Model: 72977 38 hp Kohler® Command Pro EFI 999cc engine with 72 in. (183 cm) TURBO FORCE® deck or equivalent on supply contract to satisfy the needs of its Commission Members.  If successful, the City of Gretna, LA has committed to purchasing five (5) units.  The remaining five (5) units will remain on contract for purchase "as needed" by the LACPC Commission members or affiliates.  The term of the supply contract will be for 6 months, with an option to renew for 6 months.  A price increase based on CPI may be allowed at renewal for good cause shown.

A responsible dealer must be able to order or sell from stock the desired mower and must be able to perform warranty services and repairs at their primary location deemed to be located in relatively close proximity to the City of Gretna for convenience.  

Discounted retail pricing is preferred, but pricing by a dealer through a cooperative is acceptable if the price quoted is the lowest price available. For purposes of accessing cooperative pricing only, an LACPC member may join the cooperative.

The solicitation is not a "lowest bid wins" bid. Where more than one responsible dealer offers substantially the same price (within 3% of the low bidder) then the LACPC reserves the right to conduct a reverse auction on behalf of the City of Gretna on the five (5) units it seeks.  Where pricing is not substantially the same, or where only one qualified bid is received, then the LACPC reserves the right to waive the reverse auction process and ask for "best and final" pricing. 

Proposals will be accepted electronically only and are due by 2:00 pm on July 16, 2025.  Proposals will be submitted/accepted electronically through   https://lamats.eauctionservices.com only. The solicitation and other bid information and specifications are available by going to https://lamats.eauctionsevices.com and registering and downloading same.

Proposals are to be submitted in the format required, including any pricing and specification forms included, along with any other documentation that must be signed.

The seller will pay directly to the LACPC 1% of the sale price received on each mower unit.  Payment is to LAMATS, Administrator of the LACPC, 6767 Perkins Rd., Baton Rouge, LA 70808.
