DESIRED EQUIPMENT (or equivalent)
The LACPC (LAMATS Administered Cooperative Purchasing Joint Commission) seeks a supply (15 units) of premanufactured, hydraulically operated, telescoping Knuckle Boom trash / debris loader to be used in the collection of oversize trash items such as discarded appliances, furniture, brush, leaves, building materials, etc. The loader should be mounted directly behind the cab of a long wheelbase cab chassis, along with a trash dump body, and should be a one-man operated, turn-key system.
The LACPC expects to enter into a supply contract with the winning vendor to supply premanufactured Knuckle Boom Trucks commencing July 1, 2025 (or sooner), until December 31, 2026, with the option to renew the supply contract until June 30, 2027. During the term of the supply contract, price increases will be considered in 8-month increments for demonstrated cause.
The LACPC will accept electronic proposals for the desired Knuckle Boom Truck as specified in the solicitation documents. Proposals will be accepted until 2:00 pm, May 22, 2025. Vendors are required to register at https://lamats.eauctionservices.com. The specifications and requirements are to be accessed after registration. Registration and submission of bids electronically is at no cost to proposers at https://lamats.eauctionservices.com.
Proposals will be evaluated to determine if the offering complies with the final specifications. Unless waived, final pricing (best and final pricing) will be determined through a reverse auction process, date and time to be determined.
For any questions about the solicitation please contact: Paul Holmes: lacpc@lamats.net or (225) 678-6107 (Bus. Cell).
