The LACPC seeks an aquatic products consultant to advise and to assist municipalities seeking to install splash pads and similar aquatic premanufactured products.  The consultant will work closely with LACPC members and affiliated municipalities to:  
  1. Identify splash pad locations
  2. Identify splash pad sizes
  3. Identify water sources
  4. Identify drain sources
  5. Identify electrical sources
  6. Identify splash pad features and manufactures
  7. Provide renderings of plash pad installations
  8. Provide a Scope of Work to implement including: 
    1. Engineering – by a qualified and licensed engineer by the state of LA.
    2. Any ancillary work associated with the splash pad (walkways, seating, shade structures etc.)
  9. Provide budgets to implement the scope of work
 
The retained consultant will not be a Louisiana licensed design professional but must be familiar with working with Louisiana licensed design professionals (Engineers and Landscape).  The consultant will advise the LACPC's Contracts Administrator regarding manufacturers and the suitability of their product in meeting a municipality's needs to allow the LACPC to solicit or to bid the product as may be required by Louisiana law.
