25 YD GARBAGE DUMP BODY SUPPLY CONTRACT

The LACPC Municipal Joint Commission, 6767 Perkins Rd, Baton Rouge, LA 70808 seeks to place up to seven (7) 25 yd. capacity Garbage Truck Dump Bodies under an "as needed" supply contract until April 30, 2026, or for as long as the supplier's prices and supply can be sustained, whichever is shorter. 

The purpose of the resulting supply contract is to allow quick conversions of pre-purchased truck chasses into Garbage Trucks. The selected dealer supplier must be able to order and receive the dump bodies within a reasonable time frame (as defined) and must be able to mount the dumpster to appropriate truck chasses within reasonable time frames.

Proposals will be accepted electronically only and are due by 2:00 pm on April 14, 2025.  Proposals will be submitted/accepted electronically through https://lamats.eauctionservices.comonly. After submission, and unless waived, qualifying proposals will undergo a reverse auction process to obtain the lowest possible pricing where more than one dealer can provide the specified dumpster at comparable prices.  The LACPC reserves the right to place more than one brand/model of dumpster under contract and/or qualified supplier/converter under contract.

This RFP and price offering is not a “lowest price wins” bid. The supplier(s) will be a responsible supplier/distributor judged the most capable of delivering the specified dumpster, within the most reasonable timeframe as defined in the specifications.  

Proposals are to be submitted in the format required, including any pricing and specification forms included, along with any other documentation that must be signed. Proposers must register at https://lamats.eauctionservices.com (an EASiBUY licensed bid platform) to access the full specifications and instructions, and to submit proposals electronically. 

Specifications are based on the 

HEIL DURAPACK 5000 REAR LOADER 25 YARD FOR FULL FACTORY MOUNT ON A SUPPLIED CHASSIS WITH STANDARD OPTIONS:

A proposer will price the Dumpster as a separate line item and will also price the addition of the standard options (which may be marked as "included") in the Dumpster Price.  A proposer will provide a conversion and delivery timeline for final users.

Thereafter, for each additional conversion that may occur, the LACPC will obtain updated pricing and conversion/delivery timelines.
