                    ADVERTISEMENT TO RECEIVE CONTRACTOR’S PROPOSALS 

Proposals will be received by the City of Plaquemine, LA, online at https://lamats.eauctionservices.com until 2:00 o'clock p.m. on MONDAY, MARCH 17, 2024, the results of which will be posted and made viewable by the public, for  the PLAQUEMINE TRANSMISSION LINE RECONDUCTING PROJECT (FERDINAND & DESOBRY STREETS), which will include all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, etc., as required and as set forth in the city’s proposal packet. A proposer’s state contractor’s license number must be included with a proposal. The project is expected to replace wiring along approximately 0.7 miles of city streets.  

RFP Documents for this small public works project may be viewed and examined by visiting and registering at  https://lamats.eauctionservices.com. Copies of all RFP Documents are available for download online at https://lamat.eauctionservices.com.

Proposals will be submitted electronically through LaMATS e-Auction & Bid Services https://lamats.eauctionservices.com. All potential bidders are required to register at the website address (no advanced cost or charge required) to access the full specifications and to receive email notification of changes and addendums to the solicitation.  

The City of Plaquemine Utilities Department will oversee this small public works project.
