ALABAMA LANDING ROAD PROJECT LA FLAP UNION ALLAND
Proposals shall be addressed to the Union Parish Police Jury, and delivered to Union Parish Courthouse Annex, 303 East Water Street. Farmerville. Louisiana 71241not later than 2:00 PM local time, on the 10th day of July ,2024. Sealed bids to be marked "Sealed Bid - Union Parish Police Jury - Alabama Landing Road Project LA FLAP Union Alland to be financed by the State of Louisiana CDBG Program". Any bid received after the specified time and date will not be considered. The sealed bids will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly after the 2:00 PM submission deadline on the 10th day of July ,2024, in the meeting room of the Union Parish Police Jury located at Union Parish Courthouse Annex., 303 East
Water Street, Farmerville, Louisiana 71241. Bidding documents (the contract documents, specifications, and drawings) can also be found on-line at https:/lamats.eauctionservices.com. Bidders may elect to submit bids electronically via the internet. Electronic bids for the Parish are available for submission at

The information for Bidders, Form of Bid Proposal, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance Bond and Payment Bond, and other contract documents may be examined at the office of the Engineer, Riley Company of Louisiana, Inc., 112 East Mississippi Avenue, Ruston, Louisiana 71270. Copies may be obtained at this office upon payment of a deposit of $80.00 for each set which is the cost of reproduction and handling. This deposit will be refunded upon request in accordance with R.S. 38:2212.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause; such actions will be in accordance with Title 38 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes.
Each Bidder must deposit with hislher bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable on the U. S. Department of Treasury Circular 570.
For Contractor information, this project is classified as Highway, Street and Bridge Construction. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
The Contractor shall begin mobilization and procurement of materials within ten (10) working days of the receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The Attention of Bidders is called particularly to the requirements for conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract, Section 3, Segregated
Facilities, Executive Order 71246, and all applicable laws and regulations of the Federal government and State of Louisiana and bonding and insurance requirements.
Any person with disabilities requiring special accommodations must contact the Riley Company of Louisiana. Inc. at 318-251-0238 no later than seven (7) days prior to bid opening.
IN PARTICULAR, BIDDERS SHOULD NOTE THE REQUIRED ATTACHMENTS AND CERTIFICATIONS TO BE EXECUTED AND SUBMITTED WITH THE BID PROPOSAL.
