New Iberia Tandem Axel Dump Truck Purchase

LaMATS e-Auction and Bid Services on behalf of the City of New Iberia, Louisiana will accept electronic sealed proposals for ONE (1) CLASS 8, TANDEM AXLE DUMP TRUCK, NEW MODEL 2023 or Newer as specified in the bid documents. Product specifications and price proposals are due by June 15, 2023, at 11:00 am.   Unless waived or continued, additional price bids will be accepted through an electronic bidding process via a Reverse Auction on Friday, June 16, 2023, at 11:00 am until bidding ceases. The City reserves the right to waive the Reverse Auction Process and to accept the lowest-priced responsive and responsible proposal. 

Proposals and electronic bids must be submitted through LaMATS e-Auction Service (EASiBUY) at https://lamats.eauctionservices.com. To submit proposals and to participate in electronic bids, vendors are required to register at https://lamats.eauctionservices.comand download all required documents and specifications. 

Registration, access to documents and submission of proposals and bids electronically is at no cost. An awarded bidder is responsible for paying certain electronic processing and administrative fees to the Electronic Bid Platform Provider as disclosed in the bid documents.

ADDENDA AND INTERPRETATIONS:
No interpretation of the meaning of the specifications or contract documents will be made orally to any Bidder. Every request for such interpretation should be in writing and emailed to Vince Palumbo at vpalumbo@cityofnewiberia.com. To be given consideration, such requests must be received sufficiently prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids to permit distribution of response to all Bidders. 

DOCUMENT RESPONSES:
Response documents are required to be uploaded to this platform on or before Friday, June 15th, no later than 11:00 AM CDT. Any Supplier failing to upload the required documents on or before the due date and time may be disqualified from electronic price bidding.

JOINT USE CONTRACT:
The contract may be offered as a joint-use (or “piggy-back”) contract under Louisiana Revised Statutes Title 33's Local Services Law. If the selected vendor agrees, the City of New Iberia may allow additional vehicles to be purchased at the same price bid. Purchase of additional quantities are not guaranteed. Additional joint purchases by other municipalities is voluntary and dependent on the quality and price of the vehicles bid. Joint use of the expected contract, if any, will be administered through LaMATS, administrator of the LACPC Municipal Cooperative Joint Commission, 6767 Perkins Rd., Baton Rouge, LA 70808.

SPECIFICATION SHEET The City of New Iberia, Louisiana will accept electronic sealed bids for ONE (1) CLASS 8, TANDEM AXLE DUMP TRUCK, NEW MODEL 2021 - 2023 as specified in the bid documents. The following Specifications describe the minimum requirements to establish a performance basis for the Class 8, Tandem Axle Dump Truck. Any Tandem Dump Truck offered must meet or exceed these specifications in both performance and quality. The City of New Iberia wants to accept delivery of the Dump Truck after the beginning of the New Year no later than January 2023. All items other than the diesel engine and engine size can be considered as options. Indicate what items are standard and any other items that may be an option.
