LACPC (Creola) RFP for Purchase of Police Vehicle Conversion

NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The LACPC, on behalf of the Village of Creole, Louisiana, seeks one (1) new 2020 or 2021 police patrol vehicles. Bid Responses will be submitted electronically only through LaMATS e-Auction & Bid Services (EASiBUY) at https://lamats.eauctionservices.com . To submit bids you must register by starting a response to access the full specifications. Bids are due by Monday Thursday, October 18 21, 2021 by 2 pm. Bidders will receive notice of results by email.
DESIRED VEHICLES:
- The LACPC (Creola) seeks to purchase one (1) new fully converted police patrol vehicle (purchase of vehicle and added accessories turnkey) to be delivered in a short time frame. Bids will be accepted from licensed converters only. The following alternatives will be accepted in order of preference:
- Chevrolet Tahoe SUV
- Dodge Durango SUV
- Ford F-150 Pickup Truck
- Any proposed vehicle must come with a conversion package either pre-installed by, or to be installed by, the seller.
- All bids must provide a timeframe for available delivery.
ELECTRONIC BIDS AND INTERACTIVE RULES:
- Bidders will upload the Bid Form Document completely filled out with the description of the make, model and description of conversion components.
- Bidders will provide one binding "off of the lot" price all inclusive of conversion components, but excluding sales tax.
- Bidders may upload photos or brochure illustrating the appearance of the vehicle.
ELECTRONIC PROCESSING AND ADMINISTRATIVE FEE
- An electronic processing/administrative fee applies to this solicitation. Any vendor who submits their bid which results in an award is responsible for payment of a 2.5% electronic/administrative fee ($25 per $1000 in sales) for the sale made under this solicitation. The electronic fee, if applicable, is payable to LaMATS, as Administrator of the LACPC Cooperative Purchasing Commission, 700 North Tenth Street, Baton Rouge, LA 70802. Bidders must take into consideration the administrative fee when submitting their pricing.
ADDENDA AND INTERPRETATIONS
- No interpretation of the meaning of the specifications or contract documents will be made orally to any Bidder. Every request for such interpretation should be in writing and emailed to Paul Holmes, LACPC Contracts Administrator, LACPC@lamats.net. To be given consideration, such requests must be received sufficiently prior to the date fixed for the opening of Bids to permit distribution of response to all Bidders.
