RFP Summary
The Town of Grand Isle, Louisiana and the LaMATS Administered Cooperative Purchasing Joint Commission ("LACPC") has issued this RFP for one (1) Marine Grade Emergency Power Generator to be installed at the Grand Isle Multiplex (Community Center located at 3101 Highway 1, Grand Isle, LA 70358.
Proposals will be accepted electronically only on this website through LaMATS e-Auction & Bid Services (EASiBUY) https://lamats.eauctionservices.com. Documents will not be distributed in person, by mail or by email. Registration to download Specification and Proposal Form document is required.
Proposals must be submitted in the format and/or the forms provided in the Attachments and are due on Monday, August 23, 2021 at 2:00 pm CST.
The Town of Grand Isle reserves its right to choose the generator which will meet its needs in a harsh, marine environment. This is not a lowest-price-bid event. Grand Isle is in immediate need of one (1) generator. Installation is not included in this purchase. Purchases by Grand Isle and by Louisiana Participants in the LACPC are sales tax exempt.
The LACPC is a municipal cooperative purchasing joint commission that seeks to standardize to one or more brands of marine grade emergency power generators to serve its participating members situated in or near coastal areas. The LACPC reserves the right to administer additional cooperative purchases of the chosen generator if the chosen vendor agrees.
A 2% electronic processing and administrative fee will be paid on the final sales price by the awarded supplier. Please refer to the appropriate section of the Proposal Form attached below.
The Grand Isle Multiplex may be visited at any time between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to locate and to view the installation area of the generator. ADDENDUMS
Addendum # 1: Due to a conflict in the advertised due date and the due date provided herein, this addendum clarifies that the proposals due date is August 23, 2021 at 2:00 pm CST.

Addendum #3: Additional Offerings, Comments and Clarifications of proposals is available as an Attachment. Any additional offerings, comments or clarifications of proposals will be discussed during direct negotiations with proposers.
Addendum #4: Clarification -- this RFP is subject to direct discussions/negotiations with proposers deemed capable of receiving an award by Grand Isle and/or the LACPC. The LACPC reserves the right to choose one or more generators offered herein through its own evaluation process. Any generators chosen by the LACPC are for generator purchase only to be negotiated separately from the purchase of generator and installation by Grand Isle.
