NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Town of Washington Louisiana

Property Description

The Town of Washington, Louisiana has placed the following Unrestored Antique Fire Engine for offers/bids to the highest bidder meeting  the minimum required bid.
Classic 1957 Mack Open Top Pumper.
The Fire Engine is located in the Town of Washington, Louisiana.  If interested in examining or viewing the vehicle, please contact Mayor Dwight Landreneau at dlandreneau@townofwashingtonla.net.
The Fire Engine is to be sold "as is, where is" and is not operable although much of the engine and components appear to be intact.  The Fire Engine is fit for restoration purposes only.   After purchase, the buyer is responsible for loading and hauling the vehicle at the buyers own expense and risk.
Bidders who are interested in bidding must first register by clicking Start a response.

The highest bid price will be presented to the town council for final  approval to ensure that the high bid meets at least minimum value of a similar antique fire engine in the same or similar condition.  If the high bid does not meet the minimum value, the town has the right to either accept or reject all bids or may negotiate with the high bidders to raise their offer.

At the conclusion of the bidding, the highest bidder will be required to upload the LaMATS e-Auction Services (EASiBUY) Award Form for billing purposes.  A successful bidder will be billed for the sale price and a 12% electronic auction fee.  Upon payment, the Town of Washington will issue a Bill of Sale or other documentation required to complete the sales transaction.
