City of Carencro – RFP Summary Only
Sealed proposals will be received through electronic means only until Thursday, October 01, 2020, Thursday, October 8, [Addendum # 1] at 2:00 p.m. by the City of Carencro for CONTINGENT DISASTER RECOVERY DEBRIS MANAGEMENT AND REMOVAL SERVICES. Due to COVID 19 and possibly intermittent administrative hours, the city will accept electronic bids only. The Request for Proposals is available in electronic form only through this website. Attached documents and exhibits are the official specifications and requirements controlling this RFP.
Pre-Proposal Conference:
- A non-mandatory, pre-proposal conference will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at the Carencro City Hall, 210 East Saint Peter St., Carencro, Louisiana 70520. Louisiana COVID 19 protocols related to social distancing and masks is mandatory. The city will make efforts to use telephone conferencing for those registered contractors wishing to participate in the pre-proposal conference remotely.
Proposer information:
- Proposals must be submitted on the Official Proposal Forms furnished with the Proposal Documents. (See all Attachments and Exhibits after registering).
- To view the RFP, download it, and receive proposal notices by email, you must register online with LaMATS e-Auction Services (EASiBUY) and follow the registration instructions. - A proposal will be considered responsive if it conforms in all respects with the conditions and requirements of the Proposal Documents. In order to be considered responsive, a Proposal must be: (a) fully completed, signed and responsive in all respects to the conditions of the Instructions to Proposers; (b) made on the Proposal Forms provided and submitted intact; and (c) accompanied by the required items listed in the appropriate sections of the Proposal Documents.
- This proposal shall require a Louisiana Contractors license number for Building Construction and/or Specialty: Demolishing Work and/or Specialty: Rigging House Moving, Wrecking and Dismantling and/or Specialty: Hazardous Materials Cleanup and Removal and/or Specialty: Hazardous Materials Site Remediation and/or Specialty: Industrial Cleaning and Material/Waste Handling and/or Specialty: Hazardous Waste Treatment or Removal. The City of Carencro reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.
